These questions came from several sources this past year; my website, Facebook page, youtube channel, and e-mails. I thought I'd dedicate a blog entry to answer some of the inquiries. ;-)
1. What inspired you to start a blog?
I started reading blogs a long time before I actually decided to write one. I've always enjoyed discussing, sharing, and exploring random ideas, products, and concepts. It's not uncommon for me to try something new, fall in love with it and then passionately tell all my close family and friends how they "Have to Try it!" Additionally, I love to write. I'm not that great writing but I love it just the same. Blogging seemed like a great forum for me to do what I love doing on a larger scale. Blogging has provided me a forum to share my random thoughts and things I'm passionate about with a larger audience than just my family and friends. (I'm assuming someone out there is really reading these blogs!) lol!
2. How long have you been blogging?
I wrote my first blog entry in October 2009.
3. What age/sex are your children?
My son will be 21 years old February of this year. He's a college junior. Elijah's hobbies include playing video games & listening to music. He's a low key guy with a great sense of humor. My daughter is 19. She is a sophomore in college. Imani's a dancer and has a passion for art. Elijah & Imani are 17 months apart and get along very well with one another.
4. Favorite food?
Honestly, I don't have a favorite food. I enjoy eating lots of things. Crab legs, lobster, shrimp, fish, Italian food, chicken gyros, Spanish food, blackberries, cheesecake...I love a good salad and homemade soup and fresh piece of banana bread out the oven.......Yes, I can keep going. Let's just say I like to eat good food.
5. Are you a health professional?
No, I am not a traditional health professional. I have a degree in Psychology. I have been in the social service field for over 20 years. I am a certified wellness coach & nutritional advisor. My passion is to bring awareness to help people live a healthy life and make healthier lifestyle choices.
6. What do you use on your skin?
I get comments/questions about my complexion often. There's no denying, I definitely have been blessed with good genes. Despite the genes, I've been an avid user of skin care since I was about 18 years old. I am very anal about cleansing my face morning and night. My current skin care is by It Works I use the entire system. It's a good skin care system however, lately I'm starting to think I need products with more anti-aging properties because I am in my 40's now! Don't want to push the whole gene thing too far.
7. Current relationship status?
I am single. Casually dating.
8. Do you have a favorite blog ?

10. What keeps you inspired?
